Road map  & directions

If you're coming from the Northern part of town:

- Take the old highway south leaving Woodgrove mall behind you to your right

- You'll dirve past several malls on your left; going straight past: rutherford

  mall Country club mall, Brooks Landing mall, Terminal mall .. 

- After Terminal mall the old highway narrows down to to "Terminal Ave".   A few blocks on your left you'll find Midland tools

  and on the right "port 'o'call motel and a 7/11 store. Turn right on 7/11 traffic lights.  

- A few blocks, on the corner of Townsite Rd & Millstone St. (elementary school on the right & Legion club on the left), the

  plaza (Townsite plaza) is on this corner to your left, turn left on Millstone and immediately right onto the plaza's parking lot.

If you're coming from the Souhern end:

- Nicol St. becomes Terminal Ave past the  "Harbour mall,

  now Port place" where the casino is.  Take Terminal Ave, past commercial

  St. lights (keep going straight leaving A&B Sound behind on your left).

- Straight past the main lights where Tim Horton and Talley Ho hotel

  would be on your left.   A few blocks further, still on Terminal, on your

  right will be "colour your World and Midland Tools, on your left 7/11 and Port 'O' call motel, turn left at the 7/11 onto

  Townsite Rd.

- A few blocks away, on your right will an elementary school, on your left the legion club (and a church building) next to

  Bear's Auto repair.  You're on Townsite Rd facing Millstone St.   The plaza where Friends located is on your left. Turn

  left on Millstone and immediately right onto the plaza's parking lot.

If you're coming from Bowen Rd:

- If you're on Bowen Rd, driving towards downtown with your back to the old HWY;  go past the old swimming pool / arena /   community centre next to which you'll find Quality food plaza on your left.  Continue on Bowen past the plaza where old  

  Tim Horton is, and turn left on the next lights on Wellington St. (corner of the Legion). The road will merge into Townsite

  Rd.  It curves, follow it; a few blocks ahead on your right is the plaza where Friends is located.

- If you're coming from the Malaspina area, driving on Bown leaving the Malaspina turn behind you on your left (meaning, if  

  you're on the Malaspina Rd you'd turn rightr on Bowen); you'll find the movie/Video rental shop on your left and then the

  7/11 intersection (7/11 on your right just past the lights intersection, don't go past the lights), turn right on this 7/11 lights

  (now 7/11 becomes on your left hand side), follow the road to Townsite Rd, turn right on Townsite Rd. The Friends plaza

  is a few blocks away on your right.
