The basic lunch and dinner ideas are chicken, pork, lamb or beef , vegetarian and seafood .. grilled or curried.
Full meals are served 2-course, 2-platters with Friends cream mashed potatoes (enriched with pasta ingredients and finished with coffee & rum); imported Egyptian basamati rice and a variety of local and imported grilled veggies .. all of the above. The difference will be your choice and version of meat. The average price range of a full 2-course meal is $14.85 to $19.85
A lighter version is chicken, pork, lamb or beef in pita with cheese and salad ingredients. Average range $9 to $12
We are fully licensed and we have a good selection of cocktails, martinis, beers & wines.
We also have a selection of entrees that we rotate making them once or twice weekly, such as duck, rabbit, stuffed grape leaves .. etc.
And .. we have exotic meats that would require pre-order; this includes wild boar, buffalo, frogs legs, camel, alligator, partridge, turtle, caribou, kangaroo, muskox, rattle snake and bugs-family selection .. and more! Price range: $28 to $75
.. Yes, not for everyone, and before you're turned off and turn the page, don't forget that we mainly operate on the 6 basic meals, chicken, pork, lamb, beef, vegetarian & seafood entrees.
And we have a variety of appetizers such as humus, baba-ghanoug, taboula salad .. and more! .. $8 - $12
And back to the basic meats, the chicken, pork, lamb or beef can be served the Egyptian grill & sauce way, or in a number of gourmet fashions; for example, chocolate rum chicken, mango-berries chicken, coffee-honey-wine chicken, curry chicken ... Pork African steak .. Egyptian beef steak ..grilled or curried or sweet lamb ... etc.
Finally, desserts are gourmet to die for.

At Friends you'll find a casual little place perhaps even a modest exterior image. But the food is very arrogant. Let's just say that the food is made not only by a highly qualified red-seal chef, but in fact a man who received the highest and most prestigious appointment a North American chef has ever received, having been appointed and flown to cook one royal summit dinner for two, a King and a Secretary of the States.
The place is designed as a dinning lounge, thus you'll find arm-chairs & sofas. Very casual & comfortable.
